On Track FAQs
Age Restrictions
Children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the pit lanes or on circuit.
Briefings
Full safety and circuit briefings will be provided on the day by Aston Martin and Aston Martin approved ARDS instructors will be available for on track instruction
Cameras
Hand held video cameras are not permitted in car whilst driving on track.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations made will be subject to a charge of 50% of the total cost invoiced. This is purely to cover costs Aston Martin will incur for canceling individual bookings at late notice.
Car Inspections
If you are bringing you own car to drive on track your car will be subject to a complimentary inspection by Aston Martin technicians prior to being allowed On Track. Technician support will also be available throughout the day. It is advised that you have your brake pads checked by an Aston Martin Dealership prior to attending the track event, to be sure that they are in a suitable condition for the day.
Customer Care Exhausts
We can only accept customer Aston Martin cars that have a factory standard exhaust, we cannot accept modified exhausts due to noise restrictions
Driving Licence
To participate in an Aston Martin on track day you will need to bring a current and valid driving licence with you on the day. If it is a UK photo card licence, please ensure you bring the paper counterpart and please note, photocopies will not be accepted.
Fuel
If you are bringing your own car to drive on track customers are reminded they are responsible for their own fuel arrangements. Additional fuel can be purchased at each circuit.
On Track Passport
Initially all customers will be accompanied by an Aston Martin instructor. If you are driving your own car on track an Instructor will accompany you and when you reach the required level of competency on track, your passport will be signed by the Instructor and you may then drive unaccompanied on track.
Hospitality
Aston Martin will provide full Aston Martin hospitality including a two course buffet lunch. Soft drinks and snacks will be available throughout the day.
Hotels
Recommended hotels close to all tracks will be shown on the website.
Insurance
If you are using your own car on track please inform your insurers that this is a non-competitive event and no time trial will be taking place.
Itinerary
Each Aston Martin On Track day is planned to start at 08:00 for registration and briefings. There will be seven track sessions in total throughout the day. First session commences at 09:00. During initial track sessions every customer will be accompanied by an Aston Martin ARDS qualified instructor. Please be aware times may vary depending on circuit.
Weather Conditions
Aston Martin On Track days will be held regardless of whether it is dry or wet. The only time on Track driving will be suspended is in the event of snow, ice or frost.
What to Wear
Helmets must be worn by all occupants of a vehicle if it is on track. Helmets and balaclavas will be available to you on the day however if you wish to bring your own please do so. We recommend you wear suitable casual, loose and comfortable clothes, ensuring that arms and legs are covered at all time whilst on track. In addition comfortable, flat shoes are essential, ideally with a thin-sole.
Useful Preparation Hints and Tips
If you are bringing your own car please remove any unwanted loose items from your car.
It is prudent to have a hand-held fire extinguisher in the car, make sure it is fastened securely but can be reached easily and quickly.
